A pilot transports an air marshal escorting a fugitive to court. As they travel through the Alaskan wilderness, tensions rise and trust is tested as not everyone on board is who they seem. Since his debut in 1993’s The Faceless Man, Mel Gibson has directed only five feature films. He often takes long breaks between films; Hacksaw Ridge was released seven years ago. Before filming Flight Risk, he was already working on The Passion of the Christ: Resurrection, the sequel to 2004’s The Pilot.
